Manuel Tamayo Sáez

Associate Professor of Political Science at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Researcher at the Instituto Universitario Ortega y Gasset since 1988. Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Diploma in Applied Social Research and Data Analysis from the European Consortium for Political Research. Earned a PhD from Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2002. Researcher at the Observatory of Good Governance.

José Manuel Sánchez Duarte

Associate Professor of Political Science at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. PhD in Communication from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos; PhD in Social Sciences (specialization in Politics) from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. Postgraduate qualification in Data Analysis (CIS). 

Paloma Bernal Turnes

European PhD in Business Economics from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, Université de Nice, and Università di Roma. She is an Associate Professor (Tenured) at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Expert in Research Methodologies from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and in Quantitative Research from the UNED, with specialization in international trade, competitiveness, corruption, and good governance. Researcher with the Observatory of Good Governance research team.

Javier Lorente Fontaneda

Assistant Professor (PhD) at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, in the Department of Public Law I and Political Science. He teaches in the Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, as well as in the joint degree programmes with Law, History, Economics, and International Relations at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.

Previously, he worked as a lecturer and researcher at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. He was a pre-doctoral Visiting Researcher at the European University Institute in Fiesole, Florence (Italy).

Irene Sánchez Vítores

Assistant Professor of Political Science at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. She holds a PhD in Political and Social Sciences from the European University Institute (Florence). She obtained a Master’s degree in Social Science Research from the European University Institute and an MA in Democracy and Government from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. She graduated in Political Science and Law from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Researcher at the Observatory of Good Governance and the GENPOL project led by Professor Gema García-Albacete.

Sara Carrasco Granger

Graduated in Policy Studies from Syracuse University, NY, USA. Holds a Master's Degree in International Migration from the University of Valencia and a Master's Degree in Public and Ethical Policies for Democratization and Development from IEPALA, Complutense University of Madrid. Additionally, she holds a Diploma in Mental Health in Situations of Political Violence and Catastrophes from the Complutense University of Madrid. She currently collaborates with the Platform for International Cooperation on Undocumented Migrants (PICUM). Expert in migration and human rights.

Luis Ramos Rodríguez

Postdoctoral Research Fellow. FPU 2021 PhD Candidate at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Master's Degree in Advancced Studies in Political Communication at he Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Graduated in Political Science and Public Management and in Economics from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Diploma in Data Analysis Techniques and Big Data from URJCx. In the private sector, he has worked as a consultant for regulatory processes, public advocacy, and political communication.

Katrina Kurtelius Calderón

PhD Candidate and Research Assistant at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. Master's Degree in Government and Public Administration in Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Graduated in Political Science and Public Management and in Economics. She is currently working in the Observatory under RESONANT Project, where she conducts her thesis on information suppression as part of FIMI and also participates in related projects' Network of Interest. Her research interesents also include Digital Authoritarianism and Data Sovereignty.

José Luis Postigo Sierra

M.Eng., in Agricultural Engineer from the Technic University of Madrid (UPM). He holds the Project Manager Certification from the International Project Management Association (IPMA). He holds the Project Manager certification from the International Project Management Association (IPMA). He has worked as an adjunct professor in the Department of Public Law and Political Science at URJC, combining this role with the management of the company INTUMA SL, where he served as administrator for more than 20 years, working on various civil engineering projects both nationally and internationally. He holds a Master’s degree in Intelligence Analysis from URJC and a Specialist Degree in NGO Management and Promotion from the University Institute for Development and Cooperation at UCM. He has collaborated with the Innovation and Technology for Development Centre (itdUPM) on projects funded by AECID and FAO. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the NGO ONGAWA, where he contributes to several development cooperation projects, and he has previously served on the Governing Board of the Spanish NGO Coordinator and on the Board of Directors of the Third Sector Platform.
