Además, ha trabajado como asistente de investigación en la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid en la COST Action International Ethnic and Immigrant Minorities' Survey Data Network (Ethmigsurvey) y el proyecto Horizonte 2020 Revisiting the Past, Anticipating the Future (RePast). Doctora por el Instituto Universitario Europeo de Florencia en junio de 2019, su investigación se ha centrado en materias relacionadas con el comportamiento político y las desigualdades de género. Ha trabajado temas como el interés por la política en hombres y mujeres, la cultura política de los españoles y su impacto en sus preferencias políticas o la construcción del conflicto político en España. Ha participado en el proyecto de investigación GENPOL I (https://genpol.es/) dirigido por la profesora Gema García-Albacete.

Actualmente colabora con la Plataforma para la Cooperación Internacional de Migrantes Indocumentados (PICUM). Experta en migraciones y derechos humanos.
